Storyland

Storyland is our annual family day in partnership with the Queen’s Hall, bringing authors, artists, entertainers and local businesses to Hexham to bring the town to life. 

The day is a chance for families to meet authors, take part in workshops, author talks and activities, enjoy storytelling, crafts, circus skills and more. We offer a range of activities, with some free and others at a low cost so our event is as accessible as possible for local families. 

The aim of the day is to bring the local community and businesses together, to share our pride in our dynamic town, to foster a love of reading, and to encourage families to ‘bring their story to life.’

The 2025 festival will take place in Queen’s Hall and Hexham Abbey on Sunday 29th June. Tickets go on sale on 14th May,
