Hexham Book Festival is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of its visitors to its website and to the security of the data we collect.

Making a donation to Hexham Book Festival
Booking a place on our workshops, short courses, or events. Booking is made through the Queens Hall Box Office who have in place their own Privacy Policy.
In addition, we use Google Analytics to aggregate information anonymously to provide statistics to evaluate our work and to feedback to our funders/ supporters about our performance.

We will retain the data you have provided to us securely and responsibly for as long as we are legally required to.

If you have subscribed to our mailing list, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the link at the bottom of every email. This will automatically remove you from the email database.

You can ask for your postal address to be removed by emailing info@hexhambookfestival.co.uk and we will delete it within 3 working days, and let you know it has been removed.

Your data may also be available to our website provider to enable us and them to deliver their service to us, carry out analysis and research on demographics, interests and behavior of our users and supporters to help us gain a better understanding of them to enable us to improve our services. This may include connecting data we receive from you on the website to data available from other sources. Your personally identifiable data will only be used where it is necessary for the analysis required, and where your interests for privacy are not deemed to outweigh their legitimate interests in developing new services for us.
