Workshop: Using Research for Writing with Oskar Jensen

Join author and historian Oskar Jensen for this two-hour workshop on how to conduct effective research that will support your writing – whether fiction or non-fiction, for books or for screen, set in the past, present or future. Drawing on techniques from his novel-writing, scholarship, and consultancy for film and TV, Oskar will discuss techniques, handy shortcuts, resources – and what can make research not just useful, but the most fun and surprising part of the process. The session will include group discussion, examples and activities, and will suit the merely curious as well as the committed writer. No previous writing experience necessary.
