Susie White – The Gardener and The Moth
Wildlife gardener and naturalist Susie White returns to HBF to discuss her two latest books The Gardener and the Moth and Nature’s Almanac. A dedicated moth trapper, Susie has recorded the species in her garden for over a decade and is captivated by the extraordinary colours and patterns of these night-flying insects. Her book explains how to plant for moths and butterflies at every stage of their life cycle, with beautifully illustrated plant guides drawn from her own garden.
She will share how to create a sanctuary that attracts and sustains pollinators, alongside insights from her latest book, Nature’s Almanac: A Gift for Every Day of the Year.
