Linda France Writing Workshop: The Poetry of Where We Live Poet Linda France, Climate Ambassador for New Writing North and Newcastle University, will lead a reflective workshop on Place, exploring ecological themes. How might we authentically express our appreciation of where we live, taking into account the changes we are witnessing in weather, landscapes and biodiversity? Can our writing help us – and others – to see with new eyes and look ahead with active hope? Is it possible to ‘write local but think global’?
