Mountain Café Cook Book 

New Zealander, Kirsten Gilmour settled in Aviemore after falling in love with the area during a weekend ski-trip in the Cairngorms and shortly afterwards took over the town’s rundown Mountain Café, gradually transforming it into a gourmet destination. Gilmour’s first book The Mountain Cafe Cookbook; A Kiwi in the Cairngorms sold out within the first month of publication and is now in its fifth printing. Passionate and straight-talking, Gilmour transmits the sheer joy of growing and cooking your own food, while offering genuine insight into the challenges of life as a head chef. A buffet of savoury and sweet delights prepared by Kirsten from her book is included in the ticket price for this event
