Helen Rebanks is a farmer, a businesswoman, a teacher, a conservationist and a working mother. From her innovative Cumbrian farm shared with 500 sheep, 50 cattle, 20 chickens, six sheepdogs and two ponies, as well as a husband and four children, Helen, brings us a story that’s rarely told. It’s a tale about the non-stop hard work involved in keeping a farm going and raising a family, about where our food comes from and who puts it on the table. And about what she does at the end of one of those days when she’d much rather punch a cushion than plump it.
