In this workshop you’ll hear from the narrator of These Are My Rocks as they proudly introduce the reader to their prized collection, featuring BIG things to small things … and spiky things to wobbly things!
Bethan will read from her latest book, explore the silliest collections and lead you in a scavenger hunt to create the beginnings of your own collection.
Perfect for young people learning to listen, interact and share.

- Babies under 1 go FREE (must have a ticket). Under 12’s to be accompanied by an adult. Concession rates apply to under 16’s only.
- Hearing loops are available for Theatre events. Carers qualify for free ‘essential companion’ tickets. Wheelchair spaces are limited. In all cases, please call the Box Office on 01434 652477 to book or email: boxoffice@queenshall.co.uk.
- Tickets cannot be refunded but can be exchanged for other Book Festival events.
- From Tuesday 13 May 2025, all bookings for Queen’s Hall events will be subject to a £1.50 booking fee. This fee is charged per order, not per ticket. Whether you book one ticket or five tickets for multiple events, the fee remains £1.50 per booking. The booking fee will apply regardless of whether you book online or in person at our Box Office. Exempt events include free events.
