Join us for a very special one-off event during the autumn 2025 season as part of the HBF @ Queen’s Hall series.
To celebrate the publication of her new novel The Killing Stones, North East icon of crime, and creator of the Vera and Shetland series, Ann Cleeves joins us at this special Hexham Book Festival autumn event. Ann will be in conversation with journalist, TV presenter and writer Steph McGovern, whose first thriller Deadline is published this summer. Two of our most well-loved and respected North Easterners will be talking about their writing, their research, their novels, and taking questions from the audience.
Cogito Books will be selling books at the event, which will be followed by a booksigning.
