Linda Grant – The Story of the Forest

From the bestselling author of When I Lived in Modern Times, winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction; Linda Grant’s new novel The Story of the Forest takes us from the flour mills of Latvia to Liverpool suburbia to post-war Soho, this is a book about how myths, memory and stories pass through generations, a story full of humour and wisdom.

Linda Grant is the author of four non-fiction books and nine novels. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and holds honorary doctorates from the University of York and John Moores University.
