Writing for Children: a 2-hr online workshop.

Writing for children is harder than it may appear. But it's one of the most exciting and innovative literature markets today. In this workshop, explore the potential of your story ideas and find out what makes compelling stories and characters that young readers will love. 

The workshop is being run by author Bea Davenport, whose novel The Serpent House was shortlisted for a Times/Chicken House award and whose latest novel The Misper is aimed at a teen/YA audience. Bea holds a Creative Writing PhD and teaches creative writing and journalism.
