Luna Loves Dance with Joseph Coelho and Fiona Lumbers

(**This event takes place at 1.30pm and 10.45am**)

Join performance poet and author Joseph Coelho and illustrator Fiona Lumbers as they share their latest Luna Loves adventure, Luna Loves Dance.

When Luna dances, she feels like the world’s volume turns up, like all colours brighten, like sunlight sparkles behind every cloud.

But when she takes her dance exam she ducks, dives, spins and... falls. Luna thinks she can’t be a real dancer now. Can Luna’s family convince her otherwise?

With live drawing and magical, interactive readings of Luna Loves Dance your pupils will discover the joy of dancing and the importance of family, whatever your culture, ability or style!

About Fiona Lumbers (Illustrator)
Fiona has drawn on anything and everything from an early age and always insisted she would be an artist when she grew up. Fiona moved to London in 2000 to study for an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art. A combination of her obsession with picture books and the arrival of her first son led her down the path of illustration and she hasn’t looked back since. Nothing makes her happier than splashing watercolours and inks and conjuring up new characters - often influenced by the exploits of her two sons.
