Hooray for the Gillian Dickinson Trust
We’re delighted to announce that the Hexham Book Festival has been awarded three year’s worth of support from the Gillian Dickinson Trust. This is a tremendous vote of confidence in the festival and will give us valuable core funding that will not only keep the festival going, but also help us attract support from other funders. We are hopeful that with this key support we can encourage more new business sponsorship for our individual, big name events during the festival.
Next year’s Festival will be 23rd April to 3rd May so please put those dates in your 2012 diaries.

The winners of the short story competition, and their stories, can be found on the 'events' page. Well done to everyone who entered, the standard was very high which made judging difficult for children's author Philip Ardagh.
