‘Where the Serpent Lives’ is poet Ruth Padel’s first novel. Set in Devon, India and London it is a beautiful evocation of the natural world and our relationship to it. Ruth will be talking to Neil Astley of Bloodaxe Books about her journey from poet to novelist.
